Mother Caroline Academy and Education
Center is completely dependent on the
annual contributions of private individuals
and organizations; it receives no funding
from the government or the Catholic
Church.
Our fund-raising efforts in the past
have been enormously successful. From
1996-98, we raised $2.5 million in
order to finance the complete renovation
of 515 Blue Hill Avenue, once a city
welfare building, now the present location
of MCAEC. The success of the Academy
and the Education Center has continued
to inspire so many of our friends who
remain loyal annual contributors.
Any contribution you could make to
MCAEC would be profoundly appreciated.
Your support makes it possible for
us to provide much-needed educational
opportunities to a disadvantaged community,
ultimately helping many families to
break free from the cycle of poverty. |

Support
can come in many forms. The gifts we
have received in the past have been
as creative as they have proven useful.
For example, Cramer Productions contributed
to the school by filming a beautiful
ten-minute documentary of Mother Caroline
Academy, which we have used for promotional
purposes. Likewise, Community Consulting
Teams helped the school develop a five-year
operating plan and fundraising strategy.
Venture capitalist Bob Daly donated
an entire computer lab for the MCA
computer program. And the list goes
on. The school seems to be a magnet
for good deeds from caring people.
